IS requirements

Hi,

As many of you may know there are people doing a gear check for IS, it's rather unbelievable what they want you to have for gear.
Just today, I tried 15 mins of private chat with someone to get inside IS to no avail, with my songweaver.

I've linked my entire gear set (full BM gear), as well as some extra gear (full AC gear) in my bank, and also linked my Hyperion Wings, Enraged mythic harp and 3 armor parts, and still they rejected me.
I think I've proven myself to run IS properly, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the wings, weapon and 3 armor parts.

I'm always wearing full BM gear, full BM accessories and AC+BM harp, reaching 3.3k MB and 2k MA.

3k MB and 2k MA should be enough to join IS, but some still won't accept you.

Earlier, in other runs, I usually got in the top 3 dps'ers in IS, only sorcs would out-dps me.

Some don't even know that having a good gear set doesn't automatically make you a good dps'er.
You can have 4k MB for all I care, but still have worse dps than a 3k MB player with better skill rotations.

During barracks for example, I out-dps'ed some templars' taunting, and as a result, I tanked the endboss with my songweaver for half the duration of the fight, even while the templar is trying to gain aggro again, which he couldn't.
This happens to me frequently and I'm getting used to tanking bosses in instances.

I told all these things to that guy, still he didn't believe me and kept rejecting me.

That guy told me I needed full AC gear because BM gear is for pvp.
I even linked my AC gear but it still wasn't enough.

I run every instance with my BM gear and never get rejected anywhere, only IS has such bullies.
As if IS is that hard to do.

I can understand they want to be certain not to waste a run, but come on, after linking all my gear and having more stats than what's needed, alot of people still get rejected for such a simple instance.
As said before, gear is not a guarantee the player is any good.

I've read some posts earlier where some people even require you to have full mythic gear already to be able to join IS, which is just silly.
You have to run IS to get mythic gear in the first place.
Do people sometimes think you even need full Hyperion gear to be able to join an IS run or something?

His alliance took more than half an hour to fill up by watching LFG that long.

Why do such players wanna reject so many players and prevent them from gearing up?

I may skip IS altogether and go for Vasharti gear instead, which is easier to get and may even result in better gear compared to Hyperion gear (not sure about this as I didn't make any comparison on that).

Hell, even when joining ORB groups which ask for dispel, they don't even ask if I even have halfstop equipped (which I have equipped at all times).
All groups I joined just accepted me without question.
I could even still have lvl 56 Resurgent gear and no halfstop equipped.
Everyone just assumes every sw has halfstop equipped (some don't).

Fire Gleeful Ladder replied to xform and flight time

Greetings, Daeva, We understand your frustration and appreciate you reaching out to the community for help. Not receiving a verification email is a common issue that many players have encountered across various games. We’ve checked the forums and have a few potential fixes you can try. Hopefully, one of these will help you get into the game!

Possible Fixes for Verification Email Issue

Check Your Email Folders: This may seem obvious, but it's the most common solution. Please check your spam, junk, and other filtered folders. Sometimes, a legitimate email can be mistakenly flagged and sent there. Add Aion to Your Whitelist: To prevent future emails from being blocked, add the official Aion email address (often something like `noreply@aiononline.com` or an equivalent from NCSoft/Gameforge) to your email account's contact list or whitelist. This tells your email provider that you trust the sender. Try a Different Email Provider: Some email providers, particularly those like Hotmail, Outlook, or Live, are known to be overly aggressive with their spam filters. If you used one of these, consider creating a new account with a different provider, such as Gmail, and try the registration process again. Many players report better success with services like Gmail. Wait for the Email: Depending on server load and other factors, there can sometimes be a significant delay in receiving the verification email. In some cases, it may take several hours or even a full day to arrive. If you've just created your account, we recommend waiting a while longer before assuming it's a bug. Contact Aion Support Directly: If none of the above steps work, the best course of action is to contact the official Aion support team. They have the tools to manually verify your account or provide a direct solution. You can typically find a link to their support portal on the official game website. They will likely ask for your account name and the email address you used. We hope this information helps, and we look forward to seeing you in Atreia soon! Feel free to update us if you find a solution that works for you, as it may help other players with the same problem. Best regards, The Forum Moderator Team
